Kishowar Parvez is the Founder and Managing Partner of the U2K Investment Advisor. He oversees all the operational and investment activities for the firm and the Partnership. His particular business development and investment interests encompass technology, internet, online marketplace, SaaS, fintech, mobile media, renewable energy, and bio-tech. He has worked for Wall Street and diligently handled all of his roles and responsibilities.
Upon leaving Wall Street, Kishowar Parvez developed interest for entrepreneurship and startup investment. He has always been fascinated by the process of assisting businesses grow from a startup idea into full blown enterprise. He started his professional journey as a Research Associate at CIBC Oppenheimer in its Private Client Division from 2001 to 2002. Thereafter, he joined Credit Suisse First Boston as an Investment Banker in 2003.
Kishowar started a voice over IP (“VoIP”) telephony company in 2005 named as QuantumTone.com. He opened this company when no other company than Vonage was around in the VoIP echo-system in the US. It offered business and enterprise grade VoIP products and services in the US market to both residential and business customers. At Quantum, he served as the Sr. VP of Product and Business Development.
In addition to this, Kishowar Parvez handled the positions of Venture Capitalist and Special Inspection. With extensive knowledge of the finance market, he has been the Investment Banker and Angel Investor investing money in different sectors.
